Choosing your contact lenses

Over three million people in the UK wear contact lenses.  Many people find that their vision improves when they change from glasses to contact lenses.  This is because contact lenses correct vision in a more natural way. 

Contact lenses can be either soft or rigid.  They can be designed for single daily use or extended wear over several days, weeks or months.  Single-use contact lenses are worn once and thrown away.  Re-usable contact lenses clean are used time and time again.  Extended-wear contact lenses are designed to be kept in overnight.
