Looking after your children's eyes

All children should attend sight tests, as many parents won’t notice a change or problem with their child’s sight.  If your child’s eyesight is normal, they won’t need regular sight tests.  If there are any problems, they will be sent to see an orthoptist or ophthalmologist at a health clinic or hospital.  Don’t hesitate to talk to your GP, school nurse or health visitor if you are concerned about your child’s eyes.
